Located in Kapolei, the Daniel K. Akaka VA Clinic is a modern multi-specialty outpatient medical facility designed to serve nearly 17,000 veterans living in West Oahu—home to the highest concentration of veterans in the region. The clinic provides expanded access to healthcare services in a thoughtfully designed environment that honors the dignity and service of Hawaii’s veterans.

Designed by Ferraro Choi, the facility combines warm architectural materials, landscaped courtyards, and expansive solar canopy structures to create a welcoming and sustainable healthcare environment. Developed by Hunt Companies and built by Nan Inc., the project represents a major investment in healthcare infrastructure for the region’s veteran community.
