Architecture photography isn’t just about documenting a building. It’s about understanding the intention behind it and translating that into a single frame. Every project is different, and the way a space is photographed should reflect the goals of the people who created it.

During a shoot I collaborate closely with my clients to uncover the story of the project piece by piece, which guides how each image is composed, styled, and refined.

Clients describe my approach as calm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I approach each shoot methodically, adapting as needed to ensure we capture the strongest possible images.

A Graphic Approach

Before becoming a full-time photographer, I earned a degree in graphic design from Louisiana State University. That background continues to shape how I see architecture today.

Strong geometry, precise lines, and intentional composition are at the core of my work. I focus on removing distractions and arranging elements carefully so the viewer’s attention stays exactly where it should be.

Every decision—from the placement of a chair to the alignment of architectural lines—is made with the final image and its future marketing use in mind.

From Action Sports to Architecture

My path to architecture photography wasn’t traditional. After college I spent eight years photographing professional BMX, traveling internationally and working with the world’s best athletes. That experience taught me how to read movement, anticipate moments, and understand how a subject’s shape interacts with the environment around it.

Today I bring that same awareness of form, space, and timing into the built environment.

And while the subjects I document have changed, the goal remains the same: creating images that make people stop and look a little longer.
