Meta Lab Kiosk – Ala Moana Center

Experimental retail kiosk introducing Meta’s next-generation smart glasses

Meta Lab is an experimental retail concept by Meta designed to showcase and test new ways of experiencing its hardware products in physical retail environments. Located at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, the compact kiosk introduces visitors to Meta’s smart glasses and wearable technology through a highly curated, immersive display environment.

The kiosk was designed by New York–based brand experience studio DE-YAN, with construction by Kuleana Construction and ARCH Hawaii. The vivid blue exterior structure is wrapped with custom vinyl graphics produced by HonBlue, transforming the small footprint into a highly recognizable retail object within the open-air shopping environment.

Architectural photography for the project focused on capturing the kiosk’s bold exterior presence alongside the warm wood interior display system, where curved shelving and integrated lighting highlight Meta’s eyewear products and create an inviting, gallery-like retail experience.
