International Market Place Waikiki

Honolulu’s premier open-air shopping destination with vibrant retail, dining, and public spaces

International Market Place is one of Waikiki’s most recognizable retail and dining destinations. The open-air shopping center blends contemporary architecture with lush tropical landscaping, creating a layered pedestrian environment centered around the site’s historic banyan tree and a network of walkways, courtyards, and gathering spaces.

Commissioned by the center’s ownership and management team, the photography for this project was created to support leasing and marketing efforts, highlighting the energy and activity of the property during peak hours. The goal was to capture the experience of moving through the space—from the lively street entrance along Kalakaua Avenue to the multi-level retail promenades and shaded courtyards beneath the banyan canopy.
