Four Seasons Resort Residence

A contemporary island home overlooking the Kona Coast

Located within the Four Seasons Resort community at Hualālai on the Big Island of Hawaii, this custom residence was designed by Light Wave Designs and built by GM Construction to embrace the relaxed indoor-outdoor lifestyle of the Kona Coast.

The home is organized around a central courtyard and expansive lanais that create a seamless connection between interior living spaces and the surrounding landscape. Warm wood detailing, natural stone surfaces, and custom millwork give the interiors a refined yet comfortable character that reflects the spirit of modern Hawaiian design.

Large sliding glass walls open the main living spaces to the pool terrace and outdoor gathering areas, allowing ocean views, natural light, and coastal breezes to shape the experience of the home throughout the day.

The architectural photography for this project focused on capturing the balance between the home’s clean architectural lines, the warmth of the interior materials, and the expansive setting overlooking the Kona coastline.
