Le Jardin Academy Arts & Innovation Center

Le Jardin Academy Arts & Innovation Center

A new creative hub designed to support arts, performance, and interdisciplinary learning in Kailua

Located in Kailua on the Windward side of Oahu, the Arts & Innovation Center at Le Jardin Academy was designed by AHL to support a range of creative disciplines, from visual arts and music to performance and collaborative learning.

The building is organized around a central corridor that functions as both a gallery and gathering space, creating a natural point of connection between classrooms, studios, and shared areas. This spine allows the building to serve not only as a place for making, but also for displaying and experiencing student work.

Architectural photography for this project focused on capturing both the structure itself and the way it’s used throughout the day, with select images documenting students actively engaging with the space—working, creating, and interacting within the environment.
